The Long Beach Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on 28 August 2009 at approx. 4:30 p.m. at Keesler Federal Credit Union located at 113 N. Cleveland Ave., in Long Beach, MS. The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a threatening note demanding money while he spoke to another unknown subject on a cell phone. The suspect is described as a black male, approx. 5'10" tall, 250 to 270 lbs., 30 to 40 years old. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a light colored ball cap with " Golden Eagles" , glasses with brown tinted lens and a yellow polo type shirt. We are requesting assistance in identifying the suspect from photographs captured on the bank's surveillance.
